The simple future tense is used to express:
  1. An action or state that will exist or occur in the future.
  2. Requests or invitations.
Examples:
  1. The teacher will ask you a few questions. ○ I shall answer the phone for you.
  2. Will you repeat your question? ○ Will you go to the movies with me?
